Update on Josh

We were at the hospital all day yesterday. Josh got a CAT scan in the morning and then we waited for someone to read it. They saw him in the clinic at about 4 pm and the doctor said that the degenerative process in his discs is worse. He now has stenosis in his spine http://www.niams.nih.gov/hi/topics/spinalstenosis/ff_spinal_stenosis.htm
He has "build-up" around the discs. His blood work showed that his liver is enlarged, which is caused by the Vicadin he was prescribed. The doctor said to stop taking it and gave him Codeine and a muscle relaxer. She gave him a note that will enable him to get permanent handicap plates. He will get an MRI and go to a neuro surgeon who will try to help him manage the pain and he'll get physical therapy. These new developments will definetely raise the disability rating that Josh got in November so he has to refile.
