Me and Cadence decorated a gingerbread house. It was the first one we'd ever done. It's a Swedish gingerbread house from IKEA. Cheap and easy to assemble!
After the gingerbread house, we frosted Christmas cookies. MMmmmm... nothing like a good sugar buzz right before bed.

The next day, we went to Chuck E. Cheeses. I had told Josh that Chase loved it there and would have so much fun, blah, blah, blah. Since he was recovering from Roseola and felt like c-r-a-p, he was in a rotten mood. I DIDN'T take a picture. But here's me and Cady proving once again that these white people can't dance!
Josh and me went to his company Christmas party Dec. 20th. I dragged him to my hairdresser and he got "man-lights" and a trim. She straightened his hair and curled mine. It was a fun evening. We got to have a nice dinner with butter molded into flower shapes and saw a light show at the Planetarium. It was nice. We are the party people...hahahaha....

This is our new Christmas Eve tradition. Grandpa Tanner bought the kids a Little People Nativity scene and after the service at church, daddy read the Christmas story out of Luke and Cady acted it out with the Little People while Chase tried to destroy the entire thing. This is a picture snapped quickly right before the stable was picked up by Hurricane Chase.

OUr 24 pound turkey. It was supposed to take 6 hours. It took 3. Nothing else was done.
Daddy took Cady fishing at the park. She's holding a worm I think, or a stick? Probably a worm.
